OK...I guess now that I have something to talk about, it's time for my 1st blog post...

Every year my wife and I go through "spring cleaning", and every year I am left wondering how so much stuff that needs"cleaning" accumlates over the year! I hate spring cleaning!

Well... this year is no different. We started our spring cleaning earlier in the week. We have been married for going on 7 years now and have been together for almost 9. Now that we are both approaching 40 we have become realists and come to the conclusion that we will never fit into half the stuff in our closets again! We started out by cleaning them out and donated all that stuff to the Vietnam Veterans of America (we always try to give to Veterans and Fire Fighters every year). We ended up with 5 huge yard bags full of stuff for them. We are happy that it is all going to a good cause!

But, I am stuck here today wondering, why my wife got to go to a party with some of her friends, it's a Tupperware, Avon, Mary Kay, or Pampered Chef deal ( I can't remember which, she goes to so many!) and I got stuck at home with a "honey do list", when there was NHL playoffs, a NASCAR race and a MN Twins game on! The worst thing on the list was cleaning "my" bathroom and "my" den...How come they are only "my" rooms when they need cleaning?..Ya I use them about 75% of the time as compared to her, but they only become "my" rooms when she thinks they need cleaning. What's up with that?..

Well, at any rate, I got most of the stuff done today, excpept for the den. That can wait for another day. 

I thinks it's time for me to pour myself a bourbon and kick back and relax...After all, she just called me to let me know that her and the nieghbor lady she drove to the party with decided to stop by the bar for a drink or 2 on the way home!
